BATIBO COUNCIL EMPLOYS 110 YOUTHS FOR A PERIOD OF ONE MONTH
Some one hundred and ten youths drawn within the Muncipality have been employed by Batibo Council under the youth employment scheme for a period of month. The commission in charge of the recruitment headed by the 2nd deputy mayor submitted their list of those retained to the mayor last week for validation. In an orientation meeting held this Monday July 11th 2016 before the start of the work by the students, the mayor Batibo Council educated the youths on the reasons why Batibo Council recrutied them. Theses reasons are 1 To keep them busy during the holidays 2 To build up team spirit 3 To create new freindship and particiapte in community development 4 To provide finances for the next school year. The mayor then went forward to call on the youths to take up the challege and offer their best during their stay with Batibo Council the youths have been divided into two groups, the first group will work till August 10th 2016 while the 2nd group will begin on July 24th 2016 and end on August 23rd 2016.
